            It is well-known that tools and dies are the essence of industrialmanufacturing as they play a supportive role to other industries such as the automobile industry, electronics industry, and so on. It is, therefore, nedessary to perpetually develop the industry to meet with the striking growth of the demand both at home and abroad as well as to keep pace with modern production technology.
            In this connection, the Thai Tool and Die Industry Forum was formed in 1989 and was subsequenty upgraded to become the Thai Tool and Die Industry Association in 1992. The main objective of the public and private sectors both local and abroad, and arranging seminars and study tours for its over 445 current members.
